Wind turbines masts sections
Among its big size boilermaking activities, Guerton mass produces base plates for wind turbine masts in carbon steel of 3 to 4.5 m diameter and 25 to 60 mm thickness.
All the processing operations are made at our production workshop, which allows a great reactivity
- Plates oxycutting
- Rolling of the cylindric or conical sections
- Assembling tandem submerged arc automatical welding
- Non destructive examination
- Bridles surfacing to meet the short tolerance
- Shot-peening and surface-treatment
- Welding and assembly of internal (launch pad, safekeeping…), storage on site
